PRINTING THE BOOKLET

Most printers, especially inkjets, print booklets in much the same way although details may vary slightly.  If you are in any doubt after reading these guidelines please consult your printer's instruction manual.

You will need three sheets of A4 paper in your printer.

Open the booklet file in Adobe Reader [or any other .pdf reader - e.g. Foxit Reader]

Click the "Print" button (or Click File>Print)

In the Print dialogue Click "Properties"

Select size A4

Select "Landscape"

Click OK

In Print Range section

Select:

All

Odd pages only

In Page Handling section

Select

Copies "1"

Fit to Printer Margins

Click OK

In inkjet printers the printed pages should emerge printed side uppermost.

When the three sheets have printed turn them over end to end and put back in the paper tray.

In Print Range select Even pages only

Click OK

Fold the pages in half and staple together.

Many laser printers eject the printed pages face down.  In this case, after printing the first side put the sheets back in the paper tray without turning them over.

In Print Range

Select Even pages only

Click "Reverse pages"

Click OK
